March 18, 2014 first-year students with a mentor Anfisa Nashynets - Naumova visited the National Museum of the Great Patriotic War of 1941-1945.
The museum was inaugurated on the slopes of the Dnieper in Kiev on May 9, 1981. The memorial complex covers an area of over 10 hectares. It includes: the museum of the monument "Motherland", the main area of the Alley of the Hero Cities and sculptures "crossing of the Dnieper" and "transfer of arms", gallery "Heroes of the front and rear" with bronze horelefnymy compositions bowl "Fire of Glory", an exhibition of military equipment and weapons, a separate building where deployed permanent relic exhibition "The tragedy and valor of the Afghan", "The wars of others". Students were particularly interesting visit to the gallery of transport aircraft Li-2, MI- 24 and jet fighter MiG -23. This event helped to shape students' sense of dignity, patriotism, understanding of belonging to their country.
