On April 12, 2024, a meeting was held at the Faculty of Law for students of the 2nd year of higher education in the specialty 262 "Law enforcement activity" with the head of the legal support department of the Central Interregional Department of the State Migration Service of Kyiv and Kyiv Region Andriy Leleka, who is also a member of the faculty's Council of Employers .
In order to deepen the knowledge of students of higher education regarding the peculiarities of practice in law enforcement agencies, Mr. Andriy introduced the students to the current issues of the State Migration Service, noting: "The State Migration Service of Ukraine is the central body of the executive power, the activities of which are directed and coordinated by the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine through the Minister of internal affairs, which implements state policy in the areas of migration (immigration and emigration), including combating illegal (illegal) migration, citizenship, registration of natural persons, refugees and other legally defined categories of migrants."
As part of the event, students, together with a member of the Employers' Council of the Faculty of Law, also analyzed the OPP "Law enforcement activity" for the first (bachelor's) level of higher education in the specialty 262 "Law enforcement activity", focusing on its relevance and compliance with today's conditions.
At the end of the meeting, Andriy Leleka noted the high level of preparation of higher education applicants and wished them success in their studies and internships in the units of the State Migration Service.
