On March 21, 2024, in accordance with the letter of the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine No. 3/6194-23 dated October 30, 2023, and the letter of the State Scientific Institution "Institute for Modernization of Educational Content" dated November 6, 2023, No. 21/08-1948 "On Conducting the All-Ukrainian Student Olympiad and All-Ukrainian Student Research Paper Competition in Fields of Knowledge and Specialties in the 2023/2024 Academic Year," the Department of Theory and History of State and Law of the Law Faculty conducted the 1st Round of the All-Ukrainian Student Research Paper Competition in the specialty "Theory and History of State and Law; History of Political and Legal Doctrines; Philosophy of Law."
Students pursuing Bachelor's and Master's degrees in the Educational Program 081 "Law" participated in the Competition.
To organize and conduct the 1st Round, a competition committee was established, comprising:
Chair - Professor of the Department of Theory and History of State and Law, Doctor of Law, Professor Rostyslav Kalyuzhny;
Members - Associate Professor of the Department of Theory and History of State and Law, Candidate of History, Associate Professor Svitlana Holovko, and Associate Professor of the Department of Theory and History of State and Law, Candidate of History, Associate Professor Viktoria Cherevatiuk;
Secretary - Associate Professor of the Department of Theory and History of State and Law, PhD of Law, Hanna Rybikova.
Based on the results of the selection and defense of research papers, the winners were determined:
1st Place - Bohdana Litvinchuk, a student of group PR-101M. (Topic: "Legal Communication as a Means of Interaction between the State and Civil Society," scientific supervisor - Head of the Department of Theory and History of State and Law, PhD of Law, Associate Professor Olena Makeieva);
2nd Place - Ihor Khubulov, a student of group PR-101B. (Topic: "Legal Regulation of Human Rights Restrictions in a State of Emergency," scientific supervisor - Associate Professor of the Department of Theory and History of State and Law, Doctor of Philosophy Iryna Varava);
3rd Place - Ihor Fihorniuk, a student of group PR-201B. (Topic: "State Power as the Highest Form of Political Power," scientific supervisor - Senior Lecturer of the Department, Candidate of sciences in public administration Veronika Oleshchenko).
