On 13 February 2024, the School of Law organized a meeting for first (bachelor's) degree students majoring in 081 "Law" with a practicing lawyer Ivanna Lavronova, who is a certified HR specialist of a European company and a third-year postgraduate student of the School of Law.
The meeting on "Financial and Legal Peculiarities of Regulation of Refugee Rights and Protection of Labour Rights in the EU in Relation to Ukrainian Citizens" was held as part of the study of the educational component "Financial Law" with the assistance of Professor of the Department of Constitutional and Administrative Law Iryna Ustynova.
Ivanna Lavronova revealed the key aspects of the process of adaptation of Ukrainian refugees in the EU in wartime, emphasizing the need for legalization of educational diplomas obtained in Ukraine as a basic condition for meeting the financial needs of refugees. The speaker focused the youth's attention on the issues of taxation of refugees and confirmation of income data of Ukrainian citizens for the implementation of social protection processes in Ukraine in the post-war period, analyzed the legislation of some European countries on the rights of employers and provided court precedents on the protection of the rights of Ukrainian employees in terms of illegal dismissal of women and other persons in need of social support.
