On February 8, 2024, in the media hub of the National Agency for the Prevention of Corruption, the results of the piloting of the educational discipline "Anti-corruption and integrity", which was taught in the 1st semester of 2023-2024, were presented. in ten institutions of higher education of Ukraine.
Representatives of the Faculty of Law participated in this event.
The fruitful participation in the discussion of the advantages of the introduction of the educational discipline for university management, which is provided for in the State Anti-corruption Program for 2023-2025, was taken by: Iryna Chagovets, head of the Office of Integrity of the NAK; Olena Yeremenko, Deputy Head of the National Agency for Quality Assurance of Higher Education; Olena Ursu, head of the UNDP project group on democratic governance; Serhiy Mytkalyk, chairman of the board of the NGO "Anti-Corruption Headquarters"; Anna Ishchenko, director of the educational and scientific center of applied sociology "Sotsioplus"; scientific and pedagogical workers of institutions of higher education.
"Working with institutions of higher education, building integrity in universities is an investment in the future. It is there that the virtuous behavior strategies of young people are formed. Not only the students will benefit from this, but also the state," said Iryna Chagovets, head of the Integrity Office of the NAKC.
The organizers stated that the academic discipline "Anti-corruption and integrity" was developed by the team of the Office of Integrity of the NAKC within the framework of the "Transparent Universities" project, the purpose of which is the formation of students' systemic knowledge and understanding of the concepts of integrity and corruption, dynamic training and the opportunity to stand out with a unique set of skills and willingness to your contribution to a world where integrity is the key to success.
We believe that this academic discipline "Anti-corruption and integrity" is promising and interesting for modern students of higher education, and its study will make the individual educational trajectory of students of the Faculty of Law of NAU more interesting.
