On May 23, 2023, the Dean of the Faculty of Law, Volodymyr Nikitin, and the Head of the Theory and History of State and Law Department, Olena Makieva, took part in the 14th annual International Scientific and Practical Conference of the V.M. Koretsky Institute of State and Law of National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine "Transformation of legislation of Ukraine in modern conditions".

The event was opened and the participants were greeted by the director of the V.M. Koretsky Institute of State and Law of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine who addressed the representatives of the scientific and educational community with wishes for peace, victory, and fruitful scientific results.

The deputy director for scientific work of the V.M. Koretsky Institute of State and Law of National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine, Nataliya Onishchenko, as well as legal scholars Anatoliy Selivanov, Nataliya Parkhomenko, Svitlana Bobrovnyk, Lyudmila Luts, Oleksandr Batanov and many others, made thorough reports during the plenary session.

Dean of the Faculty of Law of NAU Volodymyr Nikitin presented a report on the topic "Improving the legislation of Ukraine to avoid and eliminate double taxation", and the head of the Theory and History of the State and Law Department Olena Makeieva proposed the topic "Legal communication in the conditions of transformation of legislation" for discussion.

Such events contribute to the strengthening of scientific cooperation of leading research institutions and departments of education for the improvement and development of domestic science.
