In July, the Dean of the Faculty of Law of the National Aviation University Iryna Sopilko, and Associate Professor of the Department of Civil Law and Trial Valeriia Filinovych completed an online training course on cyber hygiene and received international certificates.
The training was organized by NAU partner CRDF Global together with Ukrainian national cybersecurity experts.
The online course "Basic Security Rules In The Digital Environment" consisted of 11 educational animated video modules. With the help of interactive exercises and practical tasks, faculty members mastered the basic rules for protecting data on computers and mobile devices, as well as in social networks, learned how to easily distinguish fake news, and comprehended the most common user mistakes in the digital space. Also, they found out how to prevent cyber fraudsters.
Knowledge of the basics of information and cyber hygiene is extremely important because in the context of the war of the Russian Federation against our state and the use by the enemy of the most insidious methods of manipulating information, it is very important to be able to protect yourself so as not to become a victim of information crimes.
