On February 3, 2019, students of the academic group PR-101, Faculty of Law, together with mentor Liudmyla Shapenko, visited the National Museum "Kyiv Picture Gallery", where the retrospective exhibition of the national artist of Ukraine Ivan Marchuk "My Land - My Beauty" appeared.
During the event, students were able to get acquainted with the creative contribution of the famous Ukrainian painter, the winner of the Shevchenko National Prize, the Knight of the Order of Freedom, and also a member of the Gold group of the Roman Academy of Modern Art, who in 2007 got into the ranking of 100 geniuses of modern time made up by a British newspaper "The Daily Telegraph".
The presentation exposition contains about 60 canvases of 1972-2019 made with the artists original technique of "Plontanizm", which transmits the spirituality of the nature, balancing on the edge of man-made and technological and because of its complexity of filigree execution and labor input is almost unreal to replicate.
This visit to that exhibition contributed to the cultural development of student youth, their artistic and aesthetic education, understanding of the values of modern artistic art, reproducing the ambiguous image of the surrounding world and, being ahead of time, defines the prospects for the development of post-industrial civilization.
