On November 24, 2018, the Round Table for students of general education schools and lyceums on the topic "Legal education as a requirement of time" was held at the Department of Theory and History of State and Law of the Educational and Research Institute of Law.
At the beginning of the event, the head of the department, Ivan Borodin, with the welcome word emphasized the relevance of legal education in the context of the formation of a constitutional state. Docent Olena Makeieva has talked about the spheres of application of legal professions. Students of Educational and Research Institute of Law prepared interesting reports, in which they characterized the profession of judge, prosecutor, notary, lawyer, legal counsel, investigator. In the end, the students watched the film about the main types of legal professions.
These vocational orientation events help students to decide on their future professions.
