On the 13th of November, 2018 the meeting between the students of the NAU and Andrew Mackintosch, the professor of the theory of thermodynamic and combustion from the University of Leeds (United Kingdom), took place. He gave a lecture on topic “The plane building: experience of the United Kingdom”.
The active participation was taken by academic group PR-106 of ELLI.
The professor researches physical and mathematic laws, has a degree of doctor in the area of theory of combustion in thermodynamics of Cranfield University. His work also consists the research of fundamental bonds between thermodynamics and information. As well, during the last years he took part in the researches in the area of biomimetic, where he established new technology of dispersion with annex to fuel injector, pharmaceutical aerosols, fire extinguishers and aerosols. The research has received a Times Higher Educational Award 2010 for great submission in innovation and technology.
During the lecture professor shared with his experience of plane building in the United Kingdom, explained the strategy of further development of aviation area in the world and Ukraine.
Such events create experienced layers in the aviation area.
