Prospects for the introduction of health insurance in Ukraine |

May 23, 2014 was held a meeting of the 4th year students of Law Institute with the Deputy Minister of Health of Ukraine Natalia Lisnevskaya.During the lecture, that was devoted to the prospects for the implementation of health insurance in Ukraine, Natalia Lisnevska described the advantages and disadvantages of different methods of financing health care. She believes that it is important for Ukraine it is the introduction of compulsory health social insurance, which will provide a stable cash flow, significant support from the public, access to a service package, the possibility of the involvement of the social partners and the redistribution of "risk" among participants with high and medium income. Deputy Minister of Health noted that social security has more advantages over the current system in Ukraine based financing, taxation and voluntary health insurance, which usually serves the wealthy segments of the population, and the elderly and sick people it inaccessible. Ministry of Health of Ukraine already makes clear steps for modeling future system of compulsory health social insurance. In particular, given suggestions for reducing the tax burden on insurance companies that provide health insurance, worked a number of legal acts that will expand management capacity of health facilities at the disposal of assets and others.
