During April 2020, the Faculty of Law on the occasion of World Aviation and Astronautics Day (International Human Space Day) held an online competition of student multimedia presentations on "The Road to the Stars".
The event, organized by the Department of Theory and History of State and Law, was attended remotely by first-year students who worked on their own creative projects, each of which reveals the importance and significance of a common holiday that unites the past, present and future of Earth. After all, the presented stories showed the stories of outstanding founding scientists in the field of astronautics, the life of American astronaut of Ukrainian origin Heidemarie Stefanyshyn-Piper and the first Ukrainian cosmonaut Leonid Kadenyuk, and most importantly - the goals of the younger generation, their way to the stars, their own vision of education and learning NAU, as well as success in the future profession of a lawyer.
At the end of April, the results of the competition were summed up. Dean Iryna Sopilko, Deputy Dean Rostyslav Kalyuzhny, Head of the Department of Theory and History of State and Law Ivan Borodin, Associate Professor of the Department of Theory and History of State and Law Svitlana Golovko, Senior Lecturer of the Department of Theory and History of State and Law Liudmyla Shapenko evaluated the skills and talents of freshmen. The jury was impressed by the creative informative videos and multimedia presentations created by students of the academic groups PR-101b (I place), PR-105b (II place), PR-103b and PR-104b (III place).
Summing up the results of the competition, all participants noted that the "path to the stars" is the path taken by a person who has achieved success. Therefore, taking into account the words of the American writer Henry David Thoreau, it should be said that you need to confidently go in the direction of a dream, to live the life that they planned for themselves.
