On March 10, 2020, the Department of Theory and History of State and Law of the Faculty of Law for magistracy students held a training session "Academic Integrity in the Process of Scientific Research".
The event is relevant from the point of view of qualitative preparation of masters for the completion of dissertation research and projects that students will complete at the final stage of education. Topical issues of academic integrity were interestingly and convincingly presented to students through slides and discussed during discussions.
In particular, masters have learned about what is academic virtue, what are its meanings, what are the components of this concept, why are problems of academic integrity in scientific research. Also present were acquainted with plagiarism and discussed the mechanisms of combating corruption. At the end of the event, the participants made proposals to the Code of Honor of the educational institution regarding observance of academic integrity during the educational process.
