December 12, 2019, as part of the All-Ukrainian Law Week, associate professor of the Department of Civil Law and Process, Ganna Grabovska, together with a student of the Faculty of Law, Maria Melnik, held a lecture for high school pupils of secondary school No. 67 in Kyiv on the topic: “The law is mandatory for everyone.”
The purpose of this event is to increase the level of legal culture of schoolchildren, to identify the level of knowledge of their rights by them, to educate children with respect for their personality and the rights of minors to work.
At the beginning of the meeting, the attention of pupils was focused on the importance of the right in everyone’s life and the relevance of continually improving human rights knowledge, in particular, the realization of the rights of minors to work.
Ganna Grabovska told high school pupils about the fundamental rights and obligations of children, which are enshrined in national legislation. A presentation on the rights of minors helped pupils not only theoretically perceive information but also practically test their knowledge of the law by participating in a sociological survey.
