During November 2019, associate professor of the Department of Civil Law and Process of the Faculty of Law Roman Padun held lectures with pupils of the Secondary School No. 219 in Kyiv on the topic: “Youth for Human Rights” and the Secondary School No. 210 in Kyiv on the topic: “Youth and Law”.
Law is a requirement that we declare. It does not depend on the promises or guarantees of the other party.
According to the nationwide sociological study “Human Rights in Ukraine”, Ukrainians chose the right to life (81%), the right to education (61%), the right to control one’s own fate (50.5%) and freedom of thought, conscience and religion (45%) as Roman Padun said.
The lecturer drew the detailed attention of pupils to the rights, freedoms and duties of a person and a citizen, as enshrined in the Constitution of Ukraine.
At the end of the lectures Roman Padun told the students about the possibility of studying at the Law Faculty of NAU and invited them to the Open Day of the Faculty, which will be held December 12, 2019.
