On November 28, 2019, in the framework of the Memorandum of Cooperation between NAU and SkyUp Airlines, which began cooperation in the field of dual education for the training of aviation lawyers at NAU, students of the Law Faculty visited SkyUp Airlines, where they familiarized themselves with the coordinated team work of the airline’s team and listened to a series of master classes how to become successful in your profession.
During a visit to the SkyUp Airlines office, representatives of the airline's top management addressed the students.
Maria Mironchuk - HR generalist conducted a blitz-survey for students on knowledge of aviation law and spoke about the company's core values: friendliness, innovation, communication, responsibility, trust, etc.
Dmitry Tolkachev - Director of Legal Affairs shared with students the experience of working in the airline, focused on the duties of a lawyer, the tasks that the legal department performs daily. It is gratifying that the head of the legal department in his speech emphasized the importance of proper theoretical training at the university for the work of an aviation lawyer.
Anton Novokhatny, CFO of the airline, held a discussion with law students on the topic “Law and Finance”, during which he spoke about the important work of lawyers with the banking sector and leasing companies.
Anatoly Nechaev - the head of the quality department focused on airline safety issues in his speech.
The warm atmosphere and professional reports of the airline management were enthusiastically received by students. Also, students were offered winter and summer internships at the airline with subsequent employment.
Such cooperation with the airline will enable the Law Faculty to develop a dual education, to contribute to the quality training of aviation lawyers at NAU, taking into account the requirements of employers.
