On November 26, 2019, within the framework of career guidance, the Department of Theory and History of the State and Law of the Faculty of Law held a round table on the topic: "Legal education in NAU - the way to success" for students of secondary schools and lyceums.
The dean of the faculty Iryna Sopilko greeted the audience with a welcome speech, who noted the prestige of legal education at NAU, told about the successful graduates of the faculty and their achievements. Director of the Center for Pre-Professional Training Tatiana Petrovska informed about the various programs for student youth, which organizes the Educational and Scientific Institute of Innovative Educational Technologies, in particular, "Program for Gifted Youth", student Olympiads, summer schools and preparatory courses.
The Head of the Department of Theory and History of State and Law Ivan Borodin talked about the importance of legal education in the context of European integration, emphasized the need to master the legal profession, in particular, the English language project, which has been operating at the Law Faculty of NAU for the third consecutive year. Assistant Professor of the Department of Theory and History of State and Law Olena Makeieva talked through the structure of the Faculty of Law, its scientific, organizational activity, students' participation in various scientific and creative events. Senior lecturer of the Department of Theory and History of State and Law Lyudmila Shapenko decribed the features of the inaugural campaign-2020.
All participants were invited to participate in the Open Day, which will take place on December 12, 2019, and were introduced to the program of the event.
After the roundtable, a guided tour at the Faculty of Law and the NAU Museum of History was organized for the participants.
