On November 20, 2019, a round table was held at the Faculty of Law on the theme: “The rights of the child as a full member of society”, dedicated to the International Children's Day.
The event was attended by lecturers and students of the Faculty of Law.
A wide range of problems were discussed, speakers' reports dealt with both general theoretical issues (the establishment of state policy in the field of protection of children's rights, the main provisions of the UN Convention on the Rights of the Child), and those that dealt with urgent problems of protecting and realizing children's rights.
Particular attention was paid to such issues: the rights of children in situations of armed conflict, the right to equal access to education for children with special needs, issues of inclusive education, the problem of bullying in schools and the right of a child to a family as a fundamental basis for personality development.
This event provided an opportunity for everyone to realize the need to personally bear responsibility for paternity in order to make the future of our state happy.
