November 22, 2019, in order to commemorate the victims of the Holodomor, students of the academic groups PR-102, PR-103 and PR-104 of the Faculty of Law, together with mentors Maxim Dyban, Bogdan Shcherbina and Irina Slobodskaya, visited the National Museum "Memorial to Holodomor victims".
During the visit to the museum, students had the opportunity to inspect exhibits that reconstruct the living conditions of peasants during the dispossession and forced collectivization, which resulted in the mass famine of the Ukrainian population in 1932-1933; the national book of memory of the victims of the famine, which contains information on 15 affected regions of Ukraine. The final leitmotif of the event was the presentation of the film “I Will Remember About Them...”, which tells the story of the Holodomor and still unknown facts about it.
Such events held at the Faculty of Law are aimed at acquainting the future generation with the history of Ukraine, preserving the memory of the tragic past of the country in order to prevent similar in the future.
