On November 18, 2019, 3rd year students of the Faculty of Law, along with a mentor, professor of the Department of Constitutional and Administrative Law Yulia Yurinets and senior teacher of the Department of Economic, Air and Space Law, Inna Polishchuk, visited the National Museum of the History of Ukraine in World War II.
This event is dedicated to the celebration of the 75th anniversary of the liberation of Ukraine from fascist invaders.
The purpose of the event is to familiarize students with the history of the Great Patriotic War on Ukrainian lands.
Especially unique was the presentation of the popular science publication “War. Verges”, which demonstrates the versatility and diversity of World War II on Ukrainian lands by highlighting its problems and reveals the complex and painful realities of the world confrontation that put a person on the brink of survival in a ruthless military life.
Students were especially interested in the new “Portraits UA” educational museum project, dedicated to the historical rebranding of the Ukrainian dimension in World War II through the study of personal stories of people who, through their actions, contributed to the fight against fascism, defended democratic values and civic convictions, put into practice the ideals of peace, humanism tolerance.
The event contributed to the formation of students' dignity, patriotism, understanding of belonging to their homeland.
