On November 5, 2019, the 1st International Scientific and Practical Conference "Topical Issues of Forensic Expertise, Forensic Science and Criminal Procedure" was held, organized by the Kiev Research Institute of Forensics of the Ministry of Justice of Ukraine. The conference was attended by: Dean of the Faculty of Law, Doctor of Science, Professor Irina Sopilko, Head of the Department of Criminal Law and Law, PhD, Professor Sofia Likhova, Ph.D., Assistant Professor, Professor Department of Criminal Law and Law Firm Petro Bilenchuk, Candidate of Science, Associate Professor, Associate Professor of the Department of Criminal Law and Law Firm Yulia Lantsedova, Candidate of Law, Assistant Professor of the Department of Criminal Law and Process of the Law Artem Grigorenko Lilia Grekova's laboratory. In their reports, scientists have revealed the problems of the forensic characteristic of cybercrime, outlined the possibilities of using laser scanning in investigative and expert practical forensic activities, and also focused on issues related to forensic support of crime investigation. The scientific findings of the Faculty of Law faculty are used in the teaching of the course "Criminalistics" and outline the modern achievements in the field of criminalistics. |
