On October 3, 2019, in order to fulfill the Plan of educational work of the Faculty of Law for 2019-2020, the Department of Theory and History of the State and Law for students of 1-3 courses organized an event to commemorate the 1000th anniversary of the beginning of the reign of one of the most famous princes of Kievan Rus - Yaroslav Volodimirovich, later named by the historians Wise.
During the excursion, students discussed the significant contribution of Grand Duke Yaroslav to the development of the Ancient Kyiv State and its role in laying a solid foundation for shaping the traditions of state formation on Ukrainian lands. Because 35 years of reign of Yaroslav the Wise is time of strengthening the authority of Rus as a strong Christian state, expanding diplomatic ties with the leading states of Europe, the progress of construction, education and chronicle.
Summing up, each of the attendees noted that these historical monuments not only testify the national, political, legal and cultural evolution in the Kyiv state, but also serve as sources of statehood of modern Ukraine and national values of the Ukrainian nation.
