On September 24, 2019, students of the academic group PR-106 of the Faculty of Law, accompanied by mentor Yulia Lantsedova, visited Babin Yar to honor the memory of the dead.
During the German occupation of Kyiv in 1941-1943, Babin Yar became the site of mass shootings by German occupiers of civilians and Soviet prisoners of war, Jews and Gypsies - by ethnicity, as well as by party and Soviet activists, underground, members of the Organization for Ukrainian sabotage officers, curfew violators and others.
This excursion was conducted to honor the students' memory of the victims of mass shootings during the German occupation of Kyiv.
