On April 16, 2019, on the occasion of the 33rd anniversary of the tragedy that occurred at the Chernobyl nuclear power plant, students of the National Aviation University, together with representatives of the Department for Work with Students, visited the National Museum "Chernobyl".
Students of the Faculty of Law took an active part in this event.
The National Museum "Chernobyl" is a multifunctional historical and cultural institution that combines scientific, cultural and educational activities with the activities of the modern museum from archiving, preserving and publishing the history of the nuclear accident at the Chernobyl nuclear power plant as the most severe radioecological catastrophe of the XX century, the consequences of which are unique and differ from other known in the world of natural and man-made disasters. They are still the problems of the present and, unfortunately, will remind of themselves and our descendants.
This event helped students to realize the scale of the catastrophe through the fate of thousands of people - its participants, witnesses and victims, made it possible to recognize the need for reconciliation between man, science and technology, which put the civilization and the planet Earth itself under a concrete threat, helped to comprehend the lessons of the tragedy in all spheres of life and do not let the world forget these lessons, become a warning to the generation of the new millennium.
