As part of the XIX International scientific and practical conference of young scientists and students "Flight. Modern problems of science", April 3, 2019 the Faculty of Law held an English-language round table on the theme: "The Development of Ukraine as an aviation state: the legal aspect".
Participation in the scientific event was attended by Irina Sopilko – the Dean of the faculty of NAU, doctor of law Sciences, Professor, academician of the Academy of Sciences of higher school of Ukraine, Honored lawyer of Ukraine; Galina Suslova, Director of the Institute ICAO, national coordinator for the implementation of ICAO standards, Professor, Honored worker of education of Ukraine; Chairman of the meetings of Directors of training centers for aviation security in the European North Atlantic ICAO region; Andriy Aparov – Professor of law and methods of teaching of law of Sumy state pedagogical University named after A. S. Makarenko, corresponding member of the Transport Academy of Ukraine, doctor of law, Professor; Natalia Malysheva – Deputy Director of the Center for space law, head of the Department of agricultural, land, environmental and space law of the Institute of state and law. V. M. Koretskogo NAS of Ukraine, doctor of law, Professor, academician of NALS of Ukraine, corresponding member of the International Astronautical Federation, as well as scientific and pedagogical workers and students of Faculty of Law.
This year, the topics for discussion were related to the legal aspects of the commercialization of space activities, the problems of legal regulation of the use of unmanned aerial vehicles, the current state and prospects for the development of aviation insurance in Ukraine, the legal regulation of remote sensing of the earth from space, the features of private-legal regulation of the aviation industry.
All participants of the round table also joined the plenary session of the XIX International scientific and practical conference of young scientists and students "Flight. Modern problems of science", where the discussion questions about the possibilities of young scientists in the modern scientific space were discussed.
