On March 7, 2019, students of the academic groups PR-106 and PR-206 of the Faculty of Law, accompanied by a tutor Oksana Myronets, visited the monument to the literary character M. S. Panikovskyi.
Bronze sculpture, which height is 1.96 m, was performed in honor of the hero of the satirical novel: “Golden calf” by Ilya Ilf and Yevgeniy Petrov. Based on the 1968 work by Michael Schweitzer, a film was shot in which the actor Zinovy Gerdt performed the role of Panikovskyi.
The students have been much interested in the details of the literary work, as well as the features of the character of his protagonist. The visiting of the sculptures not only animated comedy pictures of the screened novel in their memory, but again raised the question of the eternal pricelessness of human decency, decent lifestyle, as well as the destructive power of immoral human choices.
