On December 17, 2018, a meeting with the attorney, senior partner of the Advocate Association "Moroz, Torkayenko and Partners", graduate of the 2011 Law Institute of the NAU - Sergey Moroz, was organized by the Department of Theory and History of State and Law of the Educational and Research Institute of Law for students of the 1st year.
The first-years students had the opportunity to get acquainted with the specifics of the profession of attorney, to discuss the role and value of the attorneys in modern life.
During his speech, the lawyer-practitian talked through the various types and principles of legal profession, the procedure for acquiring and terminating the right to advocacy, the particularities of the participation of a attorney in criminal and civil procedures, and he also outlined the basic rules of attorney`s ethics.
At the end of the meeting, while Sergey Moroz was answering questions from future lawyers, he shared his own experience in choosing the profession of a lawyer and identified the necessary benchmarks for the success in the hard work of a lawyer.
