December 12-13, 2018, in the framework of the All-Ukrainian Law Week, a team of 3rd year students of the Educational and Research Institute of Law, consist of Veronica Momotiuk, Irina Pushchyk and Yana Matviichuk, under the direction of Oleksandr Radziwill, Professor of the Department of constitutional and administrative law and Associate Professor of the Department of constitutional and administrative law Marina Day won the International Law Competition named after V.M. Koretsky in the 2018.
International Law Competition named after V.M. Koretsky is a competition of world-class international law, which involves teams of the universities from all over Ukraine.
According to the results of the written tour, in which the teams had to prepare a draft application to the European Court of Human Rights on the appropriate form, and to comment on the eligibility of the specific case, the the Educational and Research Institute of Law of the National Aviation University ranked among the top five leaders and, accordingly, in the semi-final of the competition.
In the semifinals, the teams fought for a place in the final, speaking in a play-backed European Court of Human Rights, stating their positions. Successfully selecting the place in the final, the students competed for the victory with the team of the Kiev Polytechnic Institute named after I. Sikorsky and duly won the 1st place!
