On November 30, 2018, at the Training and Scientific Law Institute was held the Scientific and Methodological Seminar on "Actual Problems of Criminal Law".

During the meeting, topical issues related to the teaching methodology of certain institutes of criminal and criminal procedural law were discussed. Today, these normative acts have undergone significant changes, which requires careful rethinking and optimization of the teaching process. The impact of European law on the legal system of Ukraine requires both the legislator and the law enforcement practitioner to apply new approaches in the understanding of legal processes.
According to the results of the scientific and methodological seminar, the appropriate proposals for teaching such specialized disciplines as criminal and criminal procedural law were proposed. The participants of the seminar paid special attention to the novels in the Criminal Code of Ukraine.
