On October 29, 2018, District Judge of Mass. Mark L. L. Wolfe held an open lecture on «Ukraine and the World Need an International Anti-Corruption Court».The event was attended by the Head of the Department of Criminal Law and the Process of the Educational and Research Institute of Law, Doctor of Law, Professor Sofia Likhova, Candidate of Law, Associate Professors of the Criminal Law and Process Department, Nazar Malyarchuk, Irina Litvinova and students. During an open lecture, Mark Wolfe emphasized the role of a judge in a democratic society, compared the mechanism of combating corruption in different countries, in particular, Ukraine, China, Turkey, the Czech Republic, Romania, Hungary, and shared the idea of establishing an International Anti-Corruption Court. Such events are intended to help improve the quality of legal education through the use of modern teaching methods and awareness rising on issues of anti-corruption.
