On December 12, 2017, the thematic exhibition "Ukraine-NATO" was held in the methodological room of the Educational and Scientific Law Institute.
Associate Professor of the Department of Criminal Law and Process Julia Lancedova pointed out that in the current conditions, the interaction of our state with NATO is primarily due to the needs of maximizing the defense capability of the Ukrainian state and reforming its Armed Forces. Efforts are aimed at further approaching Ukraine to NATO standards, which will allow our state to meet the criteria necessary for joining NATO in the future. The basic documents that continue to define relations between Ukraine and NATO at the current stage are the Charter on a special partnership between Ukraine and the North Atlantic Treaty Organization and the Declaration on Supplementing the Charter on a Special Partnership. During the exhibition, students had an opportunity to get acquainted with the history of Ukraine's approach to NATO, and also to get acquainted with scientific and methodical literature on this topic.
