On November 10, 2017, the associate professor of the Department of Theory and History of State and Law of the Educational and Scientific Law Institute NAU, Victoria Cherevatyuk had a meeting with senior pupils of Ternopil’s secondary school № 3 with in-depth study of foreign languages.
The purpose of the meeting was to exchange views on the issue of strengthening the requirements for the quality of modern knowledge and educational activities of the institutions that provide them. Viktoria Cherevatyuk noted that among the common problems that are faced by academics and educators it is worth noting the competition of higher education institutions for the best students, the mobility and competitiveness of graduates in the labor market, the ability to quickly adapt to time requirements. That is why the Educational and Scientific Law Institute successfully opened the English-language project for English-speaking students in 2017, it also opened up new opportunities not only for in-depth study of the professional language, but it significantly expanded their academic mobility too. In turn, senior students shared with the NAU representative their thoughts about what they expect from studying at a leading educational institution and expressed their hopes for the creation of a platform for their free intellectual development at the university. The director of the Ternopil secondary school №3 Nadiya Budy, who was present at the meeting, welcomed the promising educational innovations of the ESLI NAU and assured that school's administration is interested in cooperation with the university, as it cares, first of all, about the qualitative training of its graduates. During the meeting, an agreement on cooperation between the NAU and the Ternopil secondary school № 3 with in-depth study of foreign languages was signed, in order to improve the system of continuous education and the connections between secondary and higher schools.
