On October 10, 2017, a well-known American lawyer from Florida, Ed Marx, along with students of the Educational and Scientific Law Institute discussed important issues related to the practice of lawyers in the United States. During communicating with future lawyers, Ed Marx noticed that in the United States, professional training lasts for seven years: first, as a student at a college for four years, and then for three years at a law school.American practician has succeeded in deploying a discussion platform around a topic related to the rules of evidence in the trial. In particular, Ed Marx explained the importance of the evidence-based process in a competitive system. He also argued about the way the evidence affects the fair trial. An experienced practician explained that the peculiarities of evidence in the US criminal process were due to the understanding of the criminal process, as the controversy between the prosecutor and the accused, which takes place in court about the indictment and he demonstrated these features in various aspects. Students of law also drew attention to the difference in the classification of evidence in Ukraine and the United States.
