January 31, 2017 the students of PR-304 Training and Research Institute of Law, accompanied by a mentor Oksana Myronets visited the monument to Princess Olga St. Michael's Square in Kyiv.
The sculptural composition consists of a central monument to Grand Duchess, pedestals educators Slavic peoples - Cyril and Methodius to the right, and a monument to Apostle Andrew, located to the left of the princess. The students learned that the history of the monument began September 4, 1911 it opened and was completed composition of fashion at the time material - concrete. But soon Olga large sculpture was destroyed in 1919 and 1923 were removed the statue of the apostle and educators. After excavations in 1996 the track was rebuilt with white marble and inaugurated on May 25, 1996 Day of Kyiv. After the tour, the students discussed with mentor facts prychyslennya Princess Olga of saints, prophets Andrew Kyiv on future greatness and the great role of Cyril and Methodius in the development of Slavic literature.
