December 16th, 2016, as part of career guidance work, Associate Professor of the Theory and History of State and Law of Teaching and Research Law Institute Elena Makeeva in the lyceum № 241 "Goloseevsky" in the city of Kiev held a conversation with the students on the topic of "Legal liability as a kind of social responsibility."
In the modern period of forming the information society it is very important to to provide education among the students for the purpose of crime prevention among the young generation. During the conversation with high school students Elena Makeyeva narrated about the concept, purpose and functions of the legal liability, legal liability features of minors. Separately she also drawn attention to the responsibility as a social category, which reflects the two-way communication of the individual and society, of which he is the part of, with respect to the established norms of behavior. On the one hand, this communication is directed from society to its members, to their social behavior, and on the other - is the attitude of a person to the requierements that are presented to it. Summing up, Elena Makeyeva noted that the legal responsibility as a kind of social responsibility is a providing means of ensuring law and order in the country, respecting for human rights and freedoms and also to ensure the proper implementation by the state bodies and their official duties of their powers defined by law, therefore, it is an essential factor of the construction of the rule of law in Ukraine.
