December 9th, 2016 by the Associate Professor of Theory and History of State and Law of Teaching and Research Institute of Law Elena Makeeva and student group 201 Natalie Kirilenko and Diana Pustovoyt at the Lyceum number 227 named after NN Gromov of Kiev was held a contest in law "Legal Olympus".
The event was organized for the pupils of 10-A and 10-B classes and timed to the All-Ukrainian week of law in Ukraine. The competition consisted of three rounds, during which students had the opportunity to demonstrate their knowledge in law. Particular interest was shown by participants to the third round, in which they had to declaim their speech on the topic "The role and value of law in society." According to the results of the competition the first place took Radomir Shastalo, the second - Anfisa Solovyova, the third - Anastasia Romanenko. All winners were awarded with diplomas. Such events form the legal culture of pupils, citizenship and national consciousness of youth.
