On December 2nd, 2016 the Department of Civil Law and Trial of the Educational and Research Law Institute held a scientific-practical round table on theme “Trends Development of Private Law Science in Ukraine: Modern Condition and Prospects”, the relevance of which is due to the fact that science is a determining factor in the progress of society, the welfare of its members, their spiritual and intellectual growth.
This event participated the representatives of higher educational institutions of Kyiv and practitioners, namely: Olena Kostyuchenko, PhD (Law), assistant professor, assistant professor of the Department of Civil Law and Trial of the State University of Fiscal Service of Ukraine; Alla Diduk, Ph.D (Law), assistant professor, assistant professor of the Department of Civil Law and Trial of the State University of Fiscal Service of Ukraine; Lyudmyla Lypets, Ph.D (Law), assistant professor of the Department of Commercial Law and Transport Law of the Law Faculty of Kyiv State Academy of Water Transport named after Hetman Petro Konashevich-Sagaydachnogo, senior partner of the law firm “KOLT Partners”; Iryna Gordiyuk, the Director of the legal aid agency “Gordiyuk and Partners”; Roman Konizhai, the assistant consultant deputy, Past President of Rotary Club “Kyiv Sophia”; Andrii Kusherets, the expert in the field of registration of real estate. During the discussion they raised the question of succession in the development of scientific knowledge as one of the general laws of science private law, meaning law-making and enforcement of the state in regulating the scientific sphere, the definition of legal forms of science private law, aims and mechanisms of social change in this area, stimulating the development of scientific research in private law and implementation of the results, etc.
