On the 22nd of February, 2016 PhD, attorney, Senior Specialist of Tender department of State Enterprise "International airport" Borispol" Cateryna Vodolaskova for first year students of Education and Research Institute of Law delivered the lecture on the theme "Legal problems of government procurement in Ukraine".
During the event, students learned about the basic problems of the legal and institutional framework of government procurement, including the distribution of powers between Antimonopoly Committee of Ukraine, Interdepartmental Commission on Public Procurement, Tender Chamber of Ukraine, State Treasury and Accounting Chamber. Cateryna Vodolaskova outlined general conditions and consequences of reformation of current legislation about government procurement to improve the regulation of procedural questions of public procurement, prevention of corruption and creation a competitive environment in this sphere. Organization of meetings between first year students and practicing lawyers aims to provide the proper level of knowledge in the field of law, legal thought formation and increase the motivation to study and get legal education with the prospect of implementation the mentioned skills and abilities in the process of protection of state and social interests.
