In November 2015 the Department of civil law and process in the methodical Cabinet of Educational-scientific Institute of Law held a thematic exhibition on the theme «Ukraine and the UN Convention on the rights of the child».
The purpose of the event is to educate students from scientific literature which explores the legal standards for the protection of children's rights. During the exhibition explains the concept of the rights of the child outlined in the UN Convention on the rights of the child, which is divided into three parts: provision, protection and participation. Also referred to the major United Nations prior to the Convention and which are of direct relevance to children, because they indicate the importance of the family for the harmonious development of the child, the importance of the special protection and guardianship, including appropriate legal protection before birth and after, as well as the importance of traditional and cultural values of each people for the development of the child.
