October 15, 2015, as part of career guidance Criminal Law and Process Educational and Research Institute of Law, Associate Professor of Criminal Law and Process Educational and Research Institute of Law Yulia Lantsedova with the head of Sopfia Likhova and students of academic group PR-303 Irina Kunz and Oleg Belyakov attended high school №237 Kiev, where they held a lecture on the theme "Protecting the rights and interests of minors".The purpose of the event was to familiarize students with the rights that are provided at the state level, and that, primarily, stated in the UN Convention on the Rights of the Child, namely the right to life, to a name, to acquire a nationality, in the care of parents, to preserve their identity, the right to be heard in any proceedings affecting the child's interests. Moreover, it drew attention to the importance of the awareness of the students in this area needed to be able to take advantage of these situations and the knowledge to be able to protect their rights and legitimate interests.
